Found Christmas Photos | Case #028

 About the Film
Not much is known about the film, or camera, other than it’s 35mm and colour.

The calendar says August, and it starts on a Wednesday, so these could be from 2012 or 1984.

Lots of plants for the cat to chew on.

Whoever is taking the photos loves their cat, and loves to ski too.

The home looks well lived in, not a lot of pianos and short term stays. 😉

At some point the camera was opened. It’s at this point the scene changes completely. The last three photos are actually the next person to buy the camera, or at least consider it. He opens it up, sees there’s film, which exposes some of the shots above and fogs the rest, closes it back up, and takes these next shots.

The multiple exposure at the end is explained by the cameras counter being reset when opened.

Summary

Not very much to go on except the date, being more likely 2012 than 1984.

  1. That square ‘TV’ in image 5 appears to be a wooden piece of furniture. The ‘screen’ is tipped back slightly (a TV wouldn’t do that) and there appears to be a hinge/lock/clasp at the top which would obscure the TV screen. I think the wording is a sticker. Odds of someone shooting film, and with the quality of the shooting, this is more than likely 1984 as opposed to 2012. Checking the calendar, 2007, 2001, and 1990 August also starts on a Wednesday. The milk jugs in photo 1 would lend me to think it is later than 1984. So maybe 1990 or 2001. Not much film being shot in 2007.
